Poker de Mariposa’s pedigree is to dream of. Sire Nabab de Rêve has been one of the best producers of showjumpers in the world for years and his sons Vigo d’Arsouilles and Kashmir van Schuttershof continue this successful line of sires. Grandsire Berlin won team gold at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen in 2006 with Gerco Schröder and has become a foundation sire with offspring like Athena (Aniek Poels), Caspar (Emanuele Gaudiano) and Zilverstar T (Nicola Philippaerts). The damline of Poker de Mariposa is exceptional: for years granddam Flora de Mariposa has been known as one of the best showjumpers in the world. Ridden by Pénélope Leprévost, the mare won a gold medal with the French team at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and won the five-star Grand Prix of Antwerp and the World Cup Qualifiers of Oslo and Lyon.
