Jumping stallions

Grandorado (Eldorado van de Zeshoek X Carolus II)

Grandorado TN has proven himself a one of the greatest talents of the G-year of the KWPN. In his KWPN performance test the judges described him as an extraordinary stallion and they gave him the highest total score of 85.5 (out of 100), with ‘9’s for reflexes, technique and scope. Grandorado also won the stallion competition at the 2020 KWPN stallion show.

He has demonstrated outstanding qualities as a showjumper with Willem Greve and has a top pedigree. His sire Eldorado van de Zeshoek was awarded the highest possible status as a KWPN breeding stallion (Preferent). Grandorado’s dam Charmieque did very well in the mare testing, scoring 83 (out of 100) points, and is as a 7-year-old qualified at international 1.40m-level with Willem Greve. Charmieque is sired by the well-known Grand Prix stallion Carolus II. In the third generation the legendary Grand Prix-stallion Baloubet du Rouet, winner of three World Cup finals and Olympic Gold with Rodrigo Pessoa, brings in his valuable genes.

As a seven-year-old, Grandorado TN won a silver medal at the world championship in Lanaken and won the Youngster Cup in Neumünster several months later. In 2020 he won the Grand Prix of CSI de Peelbergen and Den Bosch. He has since made his World Cup debut and competed in his first Global Champions Tour. He was awarded a sponsorship as a prospect for the Dutch Olympic team for 2024.
Grandorado’s sons are also very talented – Le Quircky was the champion of his performance test with 88 points; Love the Vie came second in the Dutch Championship and Magnifique TS was second in the four-year-old class of the Dutch championship.
