King Kashmir

King Kashmir (KASHMIR VAN SCHUTTERSHOF X Mylord Carthago)
King Kashmir’s sire Kashmir van Schuttershof is one of the most successful stallions in the world, after a successful career at the highest level with Philippe Le Jeune. His most famous offspring is without doubt former European champion and Olympic silver medallist H&M All In ridden by Sweden’s Peder Fredricson. But also Aachen winner Gazelle ridden by Kent Farrington, and Olympic team gold winner Reveur de Hurtebise HDC ridden by Kevin Staut. King Kashmir’s grandsire Mylord Carthago was ridden by Pénélope Leprévost among the best showjumpers in France for many years and has left his mark in breeding.
Although the pedigree of King Kashmir TN suggests a Belgian origin, King Kashmir TN was bred out of a true German performance damline. The DSP-bred stallion goes back to an original Westphalian damline. Granddam Pret-A-Porter produced the DSP premium stallion Esplendido. Great-granddam Pyrah is a successful Pilot-daughter and produced the Grand Prix jumping mare Pandora, and approved stallions Apiro and River Phoenix. Pyrah is also granddam of the Grand Prix showjumping horses Annabella 7, Prince Nandor, Paraplui, Windline and Zandiro.
King Kashmir TN has an easy way of moving and a fantastic jumping technique. He jumps with the withers up, again and again, showing great use of the body. As his pedigree predicts, this stallion shows unlimited scope.
